CHARTER RESOURCES…

Charter baseball is a pathways program that develops players and local clubs rather than focusing on elite. It is a participation based competition designed to extend player skills at a higher level to club ball and exposes athletes to international programs and play through Little League International.

To be eligible, a player must:

have a date of birth between the dates listed below

- Little League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2012 - 31/08/2015

- Intermediate League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2011 - 31/08/2014

- Junior League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2010 - 31/08/2013

- Senior League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2008 - 31/08/2012

be currently playing in the SABL competition.
play in 8 total games in ANY SABL age group
try out for the Charter team that the player's current club team is a member.

TEAM TRIALS:
DATA / TESTING DAY

The first trial for all participants will be a testing/data collection day. Further trials will be communicated by team coaches after the initial trial.

🏟️ Where: Diamond Sport West Beach - Diamond 3
⏰ Arrival:
- Little League 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start
- Intermediate, Junior & Senior League 6:15pm for 6:30pm start

Note ; All players intending to try out for U14 Wood Bat program are required to attend Charter trials

Don't forget to bring your own bats, helmets, and sneakers for the Indoor Training Facility.

**Trials are for those interested in Little League, Little League Development, Intermediate League, Junior League and Senior League teams. Trials for Little League Girls team will be held at a later date.

Baseball SA is excited to announce that Expressions of Interest are now open for coaching positions for the upcoming Charter programs. This is your chance to get involved in these prestigious tournaments and help guide the next generation of talented players to success!

What We’re Looking For

We are searching for coaches who are:

Passionate about developing athletes and fostering a positive team environment.
Experienced in baseball coaching, with a deep understanding of the game’s strategies and dynamics.
Committed to player development, focusing on both technical skills and personal growth.
Dedicated to their own coaching development and willing to participate in a series of game simulations to enhance and test their knowledge and ability (more information to come).
Adaptable and able to work collaboratively with other coaches and team staff.
Available to commit to the preparation, training sessions, and tournaments that come with these roles.
At a minimum, coaches must meet the following criteria to be eligible for selection:
Registered on GameDay
Possess a valid Working With Children Check
Possess a minimum of Level B coaching accreditation
Be a member of a club within the Charter boundary
Be available for Charter State Championships; Scheduled for April, with the national tournaments for Charter ranging from May to July.
