SUPPORTING THOSE WITH NEURODIVERGENCES & DISABILITIES

INCLUSIVE PROGRAMS…

ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE

At Baseball SA, we believe the game should be for everyone. That’s why many of our clubs run their own Inclusive Programs, designed to give people living with disabilities and neurodivergence the opportunity to enjoy baseball in a supportive, welcoming environment.

These programs are made possible through government funding, grants and club-led initiatives, ensuring that participants have access to adapted equipment, experienced volunteers and a fun safe space to play. Whether it’s modified games, skill-building sessions, or just the joy of being part of a team, our clubs are committed to making baseball more accessible for all.

Interested in getting involved? Find an inclusive program near you and experience the joy of baseball, your way.

Miracle League by Port Adelaide Baseball Club

The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of baseball.

The first Miracle League opened in Georgia, USA in 2000. Today there are over 300 Miracle Leagues across the globe, and

The Miracle League of Port Adelaide is the very first in Australia!

Port Adelaide Baseball Club is committed to offering The Miracle League to our broader community.  Our goal is to:

  • Provide opportunities for people with disabilities to play baseball, regardless of their abilities

  • Providing parents/carers of people with disabilities the same opportunities within a sporting club and create lasting memories

  • Strengthening Port Adelaide Baseball Club players and members connection to the community, by providing volunteer opportunities within the Miracle League.

Yard Ball Program is an inclusive baseball initiative aimed at providing opportunities for children, young people, and women with intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, and autism. The program focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where participants can learn baseball, connect with others, and have fun while developing their skills.
At ETBC, we are committed to ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of playing baseball, regardless of ability or background. Yard Ball offers a unique opportunity for participants to build confidence, teamwork, and friendships while engaging in a sport that promotes physical activity, skill development, and social interaction.
