Baseball SA’s Heritage Committee is excited to invite nominations for the prestigious Hall of Fame, an opportunity to honor individuals who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions to baseball in South Australia.

Criteria for Nominations

The Hall of Fame recognizes those who have dedicated themselves to the sport, with a focus on significant and prolonged contributions. As outlined in By-Law 20.18 of the Baseball SA By-Laws, the key criteria for induction include:

The Hall of Fame celebrates individuals who have profoundly influenced South Australian baseball.
- General Section – Recognizing players, coaches, umpires, administrators, media contributors, or volunteers with at least 20 years of outstanding service. Nominees must not have played Division 1 baseball in South Australia in the last three years.
- Heritage Section – Highlighting contributions rooted in the history of the sport.
Nominations may be submitted for individuals posthumously.
A maximum of five inductees will be selected for the General Section each year.

Submitting a Nomination

To ensure your nominee receives the best chance of consideration, it is crucial to provide complete and accurate information. Specific details, such as exact roles and dates, are required. Vague statements like "on committee for 20 years" will not be accepted.

All nominations must be sent to the Heritage Committee Secretary at braddles@aussiebb.com.au. Please note that submissions sent to the league office will not be accepted to maintain privacy.
