DECEMBER VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to Dion Thiele of Adelaide Angels Baseball Club for being awarded Baseball SA's Volunteer of the Month!

Dion is the true embodiment of a selfless and passionate volunteer. Over the years, he has taken on numerous roles, including Club Operations Manager, Treasurer, Secretary, player, coach, and a driving force in women’s baseball. Dion’s tireless dedication has been instrumental in the continued success of the Angels Women’s program and the development of women’s baseball across the state.

Balancing his time between family, club commitments, and at a representative level, Dion exemplifies what it means to give back to the sport. He never seeks recognition for his efforts, but his impact speaks volumes; as a club coach, a state coach, or guiding the Seahorses. His unwavering support and leadership have created opportunities for countless players and coaches, fostering growth and development.

Thank you, Dion, for your invaluable contributions and for being a cornerstone of our baseball community.

As Volunteer of the Month, Dion will receive a $25 voucher for West Beach Social to collect from the Baseball SA office.
