MLB INTERNATIONAL PLAY BALL DAY AT ADELAIDE OVAL

On June 16th, the Adelaide Giants hosted an exciting event at the Adelaide Oval, celebrating Major League Baseball Play Ball Day. Endorsed by USA Baseball and USA Softball, this initiative aims to engage children and communities in baseball and softball activities, fostering a love for the sport.

The Giants welcomed 300 young participants, including 70 newcomers who had never played baseball before. To support the event, we provided a variety of baseball equipment, ensuring a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

Adding to the fun, we set up a pop-up information stand featuring coloring activities for the little ones and a large map where kids could place stickers to show where they live. It was a joy to see participants from across the state and even from Mildura, demonstrating the wide reach of this initiative.
